On November 2nd, 2016, Prof. Edward Peck, Vice Chancellor of Nottingham Trent University, Professor Cillian Ryan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), Ms. Angela Brown, Dean of the school of Arts and Humanities, Mr. Peter Ramsay, Dean of theSchool of Architecture, Design and Environment and other members visited Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Prof. Peck signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Nottingham Trent University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Nottingham Trent University is a comprehensive public university located in the middle of England. It was awarded the British Queen's Anniversary Prize in February 2016. At present, the school has carried out a series of cooperative research and academic exchanges with HUST.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics. The research team led by Prof. LUO, Hanbin, deputy Dean of School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics presented their research onimage-based 3D modeling of construction environment, Digital Hoisting Warning Monitoring Platform, 3D Printing in Construction, among others.
